UFC Rankings Update: Francis Ngannou Stays Put, Joseph Benavidez Takes Top Spot

This past weekend (Sat. June 29, 2019) UFC Minneapolis took place from the Target Center in Minnesota.

In the main event of the night, Francis Ngannou made quick work of former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos. With the victory, Ngannou remains at the No. 2-ranked spot in the updated heavyweight rankings. Also, in the co-main event, Joseph Benavidez picked up a big win.

Benavidez finished Jussier Formiga with a head-kick and punches to make a solid case for the next 125-pound title opportunity. The full UFC rankings update has been released following UFC Minneapolis, and you can check them out below (via MMA Mania):
