Which Rampage Jackson will show up at UFC 130?

When I was first exposed to Quinton Jackson it was through an old PRIDE DVD that my Martial Arts teacher owned. It was PRIDE’s the Best of Rampage Jackson. This was of course before he became the MMA superstar that we know now in the UFC. His battles with Kevin Randleman, his upset in the first fight with Chuck Liddell, his rivalry with Wanderlei Silva, but what really stood out to me was “the slam”. Ricardo Arona is arguably one of the greatest Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners to ever make the jump to

Will Michael Bisping Chael Sonnen his way to a shot at the title?

Before the fight against Nate Marquardt at UFC 109, Chael Sonnen was just another UFC Middleweight far, far away from challenging Anderson Silva for his belt. But the charismatic Oregonian had plans of his own; Sonnen used his second-to-none trash talking skills and the interest in Nate Marquardt’s campaign for a rematch against Anderson Silva to call out the Champ, eventually forcing himself into the mix for a shot at the title. Of course, Chael Sonnen backed up his talk by bulldozing Marquardt

In the Hands of the Judges

Last nights episode of The Ultimate Fighter got a lot of people in the mma community arguing.

In my opinion the judges were 100 percent correct, but not because of the many reason people think Chris Cope won, which is better boxing/landing more strikes etc. I think that Chris won because of his ability to defend the takedown which, in my opinion, is just as worthy of scoring points as a takedown itself. This isnt the only

Michael Bisping talks Chael Sonnen, TUF 14, and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson

Top Middleweight contender Michael Bisping, who is currently riding a three-fight win streak, discusses Chael Sonnen’s indefinite suspension by the CSAC, as well as the various competitors who have called him out. Bisping acknowledges the mistakes that Sonnen has made, but says he feels sorry for the Team Quest fighter.

TUF 13 Diary: Episode 8 Recap and Analysis

Sometimes I feel like a broken record when watching TUF. To be honest and I think I could speak for a big chunk of you Lowkickers out there, but the 13th season of The Ultimate Fighter reality TV show hasn’t wowed me. The only guy that really stood out for me was Team dos Santos member Ryan McGillivray. But other than him there hasn’t been a moment of brilliance on the show yet that has led me to believe that we have a bona fide Mixed Martial Arts superstar coming out of this show. TUF in the past

BJ Penn and Jake Shields want to fight each other

Speaking via Twitter, BJ “The Prodigy” Penn expressed his desire to fight the recent UFC Welterweight title challenger Jake Shields. Penn stated that he would never fight a Cesar Gracie fighter, but Jake Shields has been calling him out “for years”. In his response to BJ Penn (also via Twitter), Shields accepted the challenge, but also added that he would like the fight to be the first 5 Round Non-Title Fight.BJ Penn was originally scheduled to face Jon Fitch at UFC 132, but now finds himself without an
