Sean O’Malley Reveals Why He’s Suddenly a Fan of Arman Tsarukyan and Wants to See Him Fight Real Bad
Sean O’Malley is now a fan of Arman Tsarukyan and wants to see the Armenian fight soon. Tsarukyan’s last fight was in 2025 against Dan Hooker at UFC Qatar, where ‘Ahalkalakets’ scored a second-round submission victory. After that, the 29-year-old wanted a shot at the lightweight title but was denied for multiple reasons.
Arman Tsarukyan’s recent PR run has fans buzzing. He’s made appearances on multiple podcasts and interviews alongside popular social media personalities like Adin Ross and N3on, among others. On top of that, on Nina Marie-Daniele’s Kick Stream, Tsarukyan earned praise for covering training fees for a budding fighter who couldn’t afford to go to the gym.
O’Malley is SUPER IMPRESSED after witnessing Tsarukyan’s PR run and now wants to see the latter fight ASAP. He said:
“I wanna watch Arman fight, he styles always been super skilled, but never was like ‘I gotta see Arman fight’. After this little media thing, I want to see Arman Tsarukyan fight”

The MMA Guru thinks Arman Tsarukyan will fight the winner of Max Holloway vs. Charles Oliveira 2
Arman Tsarukyan recently teased that if he is not granted a lightweight title shot next, he wants to move down in weight and fight for the 145-pound championship.
However, The MMA Guru thinks ‘Ahalkalakets’ will end up fighting the winner of the UFC 326 headliner, which is a rematch, in which Max Holloway will defend his BMF title against Charles Oliveira. He said:
“I want to see Arman [Tsarukyan] fight. I don’t know who he’s gonna fight right now. He will probably end up fighting the winner of [Max Holloway vs. Charles Oliveira 2].”
Guru also thinks that if current and two-time featherweight kingpin Alexander Volkanovski beats Diego Lopes this weekend at UFC 325, then ‘The Great’ taking on Tsarukyan will be a compelling matchup.
