Vlasto Cepo’s promotional debut earlier tonight at UFC Belgrade against Gilbert Urbina could have gone just as he would have wanted. “El Chapo”came in sharp, walked his opponent down, and started piecing him up right away and turning the fight into an all-out slugfest from the opening bell.
However, after getting overexcited and neglecting his defense for a quick and flashy finish, Cepo was dropped by a stiff jab and then finished on the ground with nonstop devastating elbows by Gilbert Urbina.
Official decision: Gilbert Urbina defeated Cepo by TKO in Round 1 (1:01) at UFC Belgrade.
