TUF Brazil 3 Finale Bonuses & Attendance: Miocic, Alves Bank $50,000 In Sao Paulo

Tonight’s (May 31, 2014) The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) Brazil 3 Finale is in the books (read results here) from the Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The card’s post-fight bonuses were announced at the TUF Brazil 3 post-fight press conference, and not surprisingly, rising heavyweight Stipe Miocic took home ,000 for one of the two “Performance of the Night” bonuses for his 35-second knockout of Fabio Maldonado in the main event.

TUF middleweight contract winner Warlley Alves took home the other $50,000 “Performance of the Night” bonus for his second round submission victory over Marcio “Lyoto” Alexandre Jr. Alves largely controlled the action with an aggressive game, eventually earning the submission after rocking Alexandre Jr. with a huge right hand.

The two $50,000 “Fight of the Night” bonuses went to Kevin Souza and Mark Eddiva for their back-and-forth match, a slugfest Souza eventually sealed up with a TKO.

The event drew a reported 8,896 fans according to UFC executive Grace Tourinho.

The TUF Brazil 3 bonuses were also announced at the post-fight presser, with Alves and heavyweight Antonio Carlos Jr. winning the $25,000 bonuses for “Performance of the Season.” Ricardo Abreu and Guilherme Vasconcelos earned $25,000 for their “Fight of the Season”-winning battle.
