Vitor Belfort and Dan Henderson will be face to face in the main event of UFC Fight Night 77, but both men are on completely different spectrums coming into this fight.

Belfort is coming off a loss to Chris Weidman at UFC 187, which snapped his three-fight winning streak. On the other hand, Henderson is coming off a knockout victory over Tim Boetsch at UFC Fight Night 68, which broke his two-fight losing streak. Two legends have fought before back at UFC Fight Night 32, which saw Belfort win by first-round knockout. Now, the two will fight again just two years later at UFC Fight Night 77.

According to Belfort, Henderson is already beat but just does not know it yet.

“Henderson, his defeat is already declared. When a man wants to get into the mind of the other, it means that it is unsafe, so I’m prepared to go over it.”

Belfort explained that his departure from Blackzilians to spend training at OTB was so he can search within himself to find the evolution in his fight game. However, his plans did not work out and admitted that he did not improve.

“Every time I look back, I see that is not honed, not improved, it means I’ve lost a lot of time. Today I am very grateful to the OTB, Joana (Prado, his wife) to her partners, who created the company, an office that offers me all this service. I am very pleased to be able to train with a number of people training since 2005, the highest level people. Nothing better that you want to work with someone, Belfort said. Here I am a soldier, only say yes, sir. They can take my experience, put limits, but I am a soldier, and I am following orders.”

UFC Fight Night 77 takes place on November 7th from Sao Paulo, Brazil.
