They could even look to find titles that are based on the sport of MMA with a variety of themed slots available to choose from.

All eyes are on the top two fights

The contest between Cory Sandhagen and Yadong Song is the main event, alongside the bout between Chidi Njokuani vs Gregory Rodrigues. There was supposed to be another eye-catching fight scheduled between Giga Chikadze and Sodiq Yusuff, however the former of the two has since withdrawn from the card.

Nonetheless, all eyes will be on the two main events of this UFC Fight Night card, with many fans perhaps finding them the most exciting to watch.

Indeed, Sandhagen and Song are two experienced Bantamweight fighters that have been able to create decent records for themselves whenever they have competed in the Octagon.

The American currently has a record that stands 14-4-0 and is ranked #6 in the world at this particular weight division because of what he has managed to achieve. The Chinese star currently holds a record 19-6-1 and is ranked #10 in the world in the same weight class. Given the records of each fighter, many will feel that Sandhagen is the favorite to win, although it could be a close contest and may require a decision in order to determine the winner.

Njokuani expected to defeat Rodrigues

The bout between Njokuani and Rodrigues is another that many UFC fans will have been interested in once it was confirmed, as it will pit two experienced opponents against each other in the Middleweight category.

Njokuani has been in more professional contests than his opponent on Saturday, although they have not all gone the way that the American would have hoped. He is currently 22-7-0 in his 29 fights to date and will be looking to extend his record in his 30th fight.

Rodrigues, on the other hand, has had fewer fights although he has shown that he is an accomplished fighter within an Octagon environment. The Brazilian, who is ranked #21 – higher than the American’s #29 – has managed to compile a record of 12-4-0 in his 16 fights so far.

However, the American is still the favorite to win the fight this Saturday, with many predicting him to take the contest by virtue of a knockout.

Final Thoughts

With so much talent on display at the upcoming event, UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas, Nevada, is certainly an event that fans of the sport are going to want to make sure they are able to witness and enjoy when it takes place on Saturday, September 17.

Although there are 14 interesting bouts – as well as the disappointment of the canceled fight between Giga Chikadze and Sodiq Yusuff – most people will certainly be focusing on the Sandhagen vs. Song contest, as well as the clash that is set to take place between Njokuani and Rodrigues at the UFC APEX arena in Sin City.

We are all in store for some top MMA action, and hopefully, the hype lives up to the billing and gives us fans everything we have come to expect and demand from an event such as UFC Fight Night!
