Two-division champion Islam Makhachev is not impressed with the quality of the UFC gloves. This weekend at UFC 330, Makhachev is going to defend his welterweight strap against Ian Machado Garry.

During a recent training session during fight week, the 34-year-old questioned the quality of the UFC gloves. The gloves were leaking color and had slightly changed shape after use, due to which Makhachev’s hands were left looking like those of a mechanic.

After taking off the gloves and noticing his hands stained by the black dye from the gloves, Makhachev turned to the cameraman and asked him to call UFC CEO Dana White. He said:

“Bro, what is this? The gloves, bro. Call Dana, bro, China-made or what? Or it’s fake?”
