Bilal Hasan TKO’s India’s Mridul Saikia in Just 45 Seconds, Then Moonwalks Across the Canvas: Dana White’s Contender Series Season 10, Week 1 Results

Bilal Hasan

Indonesia’s flyweight star Bilal Hasan, the biggest favorite in the history of Dana White’s Contender Series, just proved why the oddsmakers were absolutely right.

From the opening bell, Hasan took charge with relentless forward pressure. Just seconds into the bout, he dropped the 9-1 Indian fighter, Mridul Saikia, with a crazy right hook and then went for the final kill with nonstop ground-and-pound to secure the finish in just 45 seconds.

With tonight’s TKO win over Mridul Saikia, Hasan extended his pro-MMA record to 9-0 and may have also done enough to impress UFC CEO Dana White and earn a UFC contract.
