The undefeated Anthony Wint has delivered the kind of performance to impress Dana White and earn a UFC contract.
Earlier tonight, in the final bout of Dana White’s Contender Series Season 10, Week 1, Wint, a former academic coordinator, locked horns with the 28-year-old Matt Adams.
As the heavyweight contest began, Wint came out firing with devastating leg kicks, and just 20 seconds into the fight, he took his opponent’s back during a scramble and began unloading heavy left and right hands from the back position.
After several unanswered blows, the referee had seen enough and stepped in to stop the bout and save a semi-conscious Adams from further punishment.
