Joe Rogan Breaks Silence on Golden Globes Nomination Talk
Joe Rogan has revealed that he wasn’t exactly snubbed from a Golden Globe nomination for Best Podcast. The longtime UFC commentator, who is also the Most Popular Podcaster on the planet, was not even nominated, forget winning a Golden Globe Award, which had the internet buzzing and speculating what really happened behind the scenes.
Podcasts have dominated the internet in the 21st century, leading the Golden Globe Awards to finally introduce a Best Podcast category in 2026.
The Joe Rogan Experience, which sits in the No. 3 spot on the Apple Podcast list and is ranked No. 1 on Spotify in the United States, was eligible for the Best Podcast category nomination at the Golden Globes.

However, the American podcaster confessed that he had to submit $500 to be nominated plus additional paperwork, and the longtime UFC commentator did not want to pay the sum or endure the additional hassle. During a recent episode of JRE, he said:
“A lot of people say, ‘Why wasn’t Joe Rogan nominated for the Golden Globes?’ And like, ‘Did you know Amy Poehler won?’ I didn’t submit. So, they asked me to submit to be nominated for the Golden Globes, and you had to pay $500. And the $500 is like for paperwork or whatever. I said, ‘No. ‘Like, I don’t care.”
Joe Rogan does not need An Award to Prove That his show is the best in the world
Joe Rogan is confident that the numbers and the charts speak are enough and he doesn’t need an additional award to prove that his show is the best on the planet. The 58-year-old added:
“I already won. You can’t tell me I didn’t win. I’ve been number one for six years in a row. All of a sudden, you’re going to have a contest in front of all these people wearing tuxedos, and you’re going to say, ‘Now I’m not number one.’ Like, f*ck off. Yeah. You can’t. I don’t care that I’m number one, but I am, in fact, number one.”

As Joe Rogan mentioned, Amy Poehler’s podcast Good Hang took home the Golden Globe for Best Podcast. About that, he added:
“I’m sure it’s good. It won. I’m sure someone must love it. If it sucked, they would give it to someone else, right?”
