In perhaps the most anticipated mixed martial arts (MMA) bout in history, reigning Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight title holder Jose Aldo (25-2) looked to make his eighth successful title defense. Standing in his way was interim 145-pound champion Conor McGregor (19-2).

The fight was over before anyone could blink.

McGregor landed a side kick to the leg. Aldo charged in and was knocked out cold with a left hand. In stunning fashion, “Notorious” won the undisputed featherweight championship in record time.
