Cody Garbrandt vows to make his return better than ever in his next fight when he steps back into the Octagon.
The former UFC bantamweight champion made his return but is now on a three-fight losing streak and had to answer some questions from fight fans regarding his last fight. Specifically, why he had a wild brawl that led to the finish at the UFC 235 pay-per-view event.
Garbrandt suffered a first-round loss to Pedro Munhoz at UFC 235 pay-per-view event. This show went down on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
It was an awesome fight but odd in some way, as typically a fighter who is on a losing streak doesn’t take the wild chances that Garbrandt did in this fight. He took to his official Instagram account where he issued the following statement:
“Kill or be killed, that’s how this shit goes!” he wrote, adding, “I want to thank everyone on this journey! I love this fight game. I’m healing up and will be back soon.”
