CB Dollaway vs Francis Carmont To Serve As Co-Main Event For Fight Night Berlin

CB Dollaway returned to action in Brazil last Sunday, as he blasted bookies favorite Cezar Ferreira in the very first round. The impressive knockout took less than 40 seconds and has clearly caught the attention of his bosses, as we learn that Dollaway will get a big fight in his next outing.

The UFC has officially announced CB Dolloway vs. Francis Carmont as the co-main event for Fight Night Berlin; the card is set to be headlined by a middleweight tilt between Mark Munoz and Gegarde Mousasi, and will also feature LowKick’s good friend Luke Barnatt as he goes against Sean Strickland.

Carmont is ranked at #9 at 185 pounds, so a win for Dollaway would be huge, especially as he is currently unranked. ‘Limitless’ suffered his first UFC loss in February, a disappointing UD loss to Ronaldo de Souza, and will look to get back on his game. Carmont had previously racked up an impressive 11-fight win spree before facing ‘Jacare’.

For Dollaway, a win at Fight Night 41 would put him 4-1 in his last five and that would include a top 10 scalp. The former NCAA wrestler seems to be hitting his stride after a testing time in 2011. Here is how the Fight Night Berlin card is shaping up:
