The Korean Zombie Calls Out Cub Swanson After Fight Night 44 Victory

Cub Swanson extended his win streak to six last night, as he defeated Jeremy Stephens in a five round thriller at UFC Fight Night 44. The fans in Sna Antonio, Texas got to see ‘Beautiful Destruction’ and ‘Lil’ Heathen’ put on a ‘Fight of the night’ winning performance, and the win for Swanson will likely mean a shot at the winner of Jose Aldo vs. Chad Mendes II.

One thing that does come to mind is what if Cub has to wait? In the interest of keeping busy, and not holding out for the shot, it appears that Swanson has already received his first challenge in the wake of his win over Stephens. Former title challenger and exciting featherweight Chan Sung Jung took to his twitter account today, check out what he said:

With Aldo and ‘Money’ Mendes scheduled to clash for their rematch on August 2 at UFC 176, a quick win for either man could mean that Swanson would get a title shot sooner, rather than later. But what if Mendes edges Aldo on the scorecards? Would the long-reigning champ get an immediate rematch?

Swanson, although victorious in his sixth straight, once again finds himself in title fight limbo. If worse comes to worse, a futher fight would probably make more sense than a long lay off. So, with that in mind, who wins in a fight between Cub Swanson and The Korean Zombie?
