Jon Jones Believes He’s ‘Balls Deep In DC’s Head’

Cormier vs Jones

UFC 200 is just around the corner as the blockbuster event is slated for July 9, 2016 from the brand new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The main event will play host to a long-awaited rematch between bitter rivals Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones as “DC” puts his light heavyweight strap on the line against the ex-champion in Jones.

The two have been going back and forth since the fight was booked, and even prior to that as the two originally met at January 2015’s UFC 182 with Jones defending his then held title in decisive fashion.

Recently, Cormier took yet another jab at “Bones”, posting a video of himself hitting a heavy bag with the former champion’s face planted on it.

Apparently Jones has gotten wind of the video, and to no surprise has fired back at the ‘paper champion’ as he referred to Cormier as.

Check out “Bones’” response below via his official Instagram account:

Using the term ‘paper champion’, Jones is alluding to the fact that Cormier never technically took the title from him. After being arrested on felony hit-and-run charges in April 2015, Jones was stripped of his long-held title and suspended indefinitely.

Cormier would go on to choke out Anthony Johnson to secure the vacant title before defending it in a five round war against Alexander Gustafsson last October.

“DC” and Jones were set to settle the score at April 23’s UFC 197 in “Bones’” return, but Cormier was forced to withdraw with an injury. Jones would go on to score a rather lackluster decision over late replacement Ovince St. Preux to become the interim 205-pound title holder.

How do you see the rematch playing out?
