Tonight’s (Sat., January 17, 2015) World Series of Fighting (WSOF) 17 is in the books from the AXIS Theater from Planet Hollywood Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In the main event, former UFC title challenger Jake Shields took on tough welterweight Brian Foster. The opening frame featured from crisp punches from Foster, but the fight ultimately went to Shields’ realm on the ground. Smothering Foster like a snake, he switched from the mount to his back to secure a tight neck crank to lock up his second consecutive WSOF finish.
