Why Paddy Pimblett is Becoming “The Most Hated man” In the UFC According to Former Champ

Paddy Pimblett

Paddy Pimblett is not someone who is endearing himself to the UFC’s fan base, per another UK combatant who previously ascended to the status of being a UFC titleholder.

This was expressed by Michael Bisping, who recently delved into the subject on his personal YouTube channel, as Bisping said,

Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett, who of course is in action for the interim title against Justin Gaethje, slowly but surely is becoming the most hated man in the lightweight division. This all goes back to an interview that Paddy did recently with the MMA Guru. He was talking about a variety of people, throwing shots at everybody. On this occasion he went hard on Dan Hooker.

“He was trying to explain how bad Dan Hooker’s grappling was and he used kind of an unhinged analogy and he is getting absolutely murdered online. He said the grappling was so bad that he couldn’t stop, you know, an attacker going after his mom. You’ve got to be careful on YouTube what you say, but we all know the line. People are saying that’s out of bounds, it’s off limits, have a bit of respect, you’re a trash human being. All you’ve got to do is look on Twitter and the YouTube comments – people are really going after Paddy for this.”

Paddy Pimblett on which UFC combatant he dislikes more than Ilia Topuria

Paddy Pimblett went after Dan Hooker recently, as mentioned above. Ilia Topuria has also drawn the ire of the former Cage Warriors standout previously, but there is one UFC fighter whom ‘The Baddy’ loathes more than any other.

This was discussed recently by the UFC 324 main event participant during a chat on Tom Aspinall’s YouTube channel, as Pimblett stated [via Bloody Elbow],

“I just don’t like him anyway, I’ve always thought he’s a piece of s—. I think I hate him more than Ilia now, lad.”

Getting into specifics, the UFC interim lightweight title challenger expounded upon things with Pimblett quipping [via Bloody Elbow],

“He’s great to laugh at, Arman lad. He’s just one of them lads who thinks because his family has got money he’s got everything handed to him on a plate for years. ‘Oh it’ll just happen in the UFC’, like he’s been told. He f—ing pulled out of that Islam Makhachev fight with a ‘bad back’ when really he just couldn’t make weight. Then he got offered to fight Mateusz Gamrot and said no, then took the most favorable matchup against Dan Hooker who can’t grapple to save his mam’s life.”

An amateur in here could look good against Dan Hooker, as long as they can do jiu-jitsu. He doesn’t know how to do jiu-jitsu, he’s a banger and I’ll give him his due I like watching him fight, he’s a scrapper but that’s all he is, he can’t do jiu-jitsu, he’s bad at jits and he nearly guillotined Arman. That just shows how bad his grappling is to me, he had an arm in around him. I was watching that thinking ‘wow, if I get you in a guillotine you are going unconscious’.
