Video: Watch Jon Jones’ Full Plea Hearing

After pleading guilty to a felony hit-and-run charge in New Mexico today (Tues., September 29, 2015), former UFC light heavyweight champion and pound-for-pound king Jon ‘Bones’ Jones not surprisingly stayed out of jail on a conditional discharge that will require him submit to conditions of supervision and reappear in 18 months.

Jones originally turned himself in after an odd two-day manhunt after he allegedly hit a 25-year-old pregnant woman while running a traffic light in a rental car and fled the scene only to return to grab a large handful of cash while leaving drugs, paraphernalia, and identifying paperwork behind.

The polarizing and controversial champion apologized today and asked people to give him a second chance, something that many would argue that he’s already had more than one of. ”’Bones’ will now return to the octagon presumably against the winner of Saturday’s (October 3, 2015) Daniel Cormier vs. Alexander Gustafson main event, setting up a huge rematch for either former ‘Bones’ opponent.
