UFC 174 Bonuses & Attendance: Tae Hyun Bang Picks Up $100K

UFC 174 is in the rear view from the Rogers Arena in British Columbia (checkout results here), the events gate and attendance along with the bonuses have now been revealed.

Tom Wright, the UFC’s director of operations, revealed the gate drew a sum of $1.14 million and the event had 13,506 fans in attendance.

The cards bonuses were also revealed at the UFC 174 post-fight press conference by Wright, which amounted to $50,000 each. South Korea’s Tae Hyun Bang picked up both “Fight of the Night” and “Performance of the Night” bonuses earning him a cool $100K.

Bang picked up his bonuses on the prelims for his bout against Vancouver’s own Kajun Johnson, who also earned $50,000 for FOTN. Johnson was knocked out by “The Supernatural” two minutes into the third round with huge right hand.

Japan’s Kiichi Kunimoto picked up the second POTN bonus for his stunning first round submission over top Brazilian prospect Daniel Sarafian. “”Strasser” finished Sarafian with a rear naked choke mid way through the round.
