UFC 160 Salaries: Velasquez takes home $400K
Fighter salaries from UFC 160 were released today, and to no one’s surprise, heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez took home the highest sum with a reported $400,000. Former champ Junior dos Santos was not far behind, earning $250,000. This does not include his $50,000 bonus that he earned for Fight of the Night thanks to his thrilling slugfest with Mark Hunt. Hunt took home $160,000 for his part.
Although many thought that dos Santos would almost certainly gain the bonus for Knockout of the Night as well, but this surprisingly went to TJ Grant for his upset win over Gray Maynard. Check out the full list of fighter payouts below:
