UFC Fight Night 68 Weigh-In Video & Results

Middleweight headliners Dan Henderson and Tim Boetsch will carry the weight of UFC Fight Night 68 tomorrow (Saturday June 6th, 2015) as the promotion heads to the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. It’s been a busy year so far for the UFC, with events near every weekend and perhaps the fact that both headlining fighters are coming off losses, Henderson off of two, is indicative of the UFC running a little low on stars.

With Ryan Bader and Daniel Cormier originally scheduled to fight in the main event, the card took a knock when ‘DC’ was called up to replace Jon Jones at UFC 187. Cormier defeated Anthony ‘Rumble’ Johnson that night in Las Vegas, and thus UFN 68 is a little short on talent. Nonetheless we get to see heavyweight bangers Matt Mitrione and Ben Rothwell in the co-main event slot, Dustin Poirier and Yancy Medeiros in a lightweight clash, and Brian Orega vs Thiago Tavares at 145 pounds. Anthony Birchak takes on Joe Soto at bantameight and also at 135 pounds is Alex Cacares vs Francisco Riveira to open the main card.

Derrick Lewis and Shawn Jordan collide at heavyweight in the feature prelim bout for the evening.
