Arnold Allen Reportedly Booked Against Savage Finisher At UFC 324 On Jan 24
Arnold Allen might finally be gearing up to step back inside the Octagon after being away for more than a year. “Almighty” has been out of action since July 2024, when he earned a dominant unanimous decision win over Giga Chikadze at UFC 304.
Before that victory, Allen suffered consecutive decision defeats, first to former featherweight champion Max Holloway in April 2023, and later to Movsar Evloev at UFC 297 in January 2024. The 31-year-old Ipswich native has largely been kept out of competition by recurring injuries, but all signs now point to a comeback.
Arnold Allen has recently teased that he’s stacked on significant muscle during his hiatus, even floating the idea of jumping a division to make his lightweight debut. However, based on the latest developments, it now looks like the No. 6-ranked contender will remain at 145 pounds for his next fight.
Arnold Allen In Works For UFC 324 Return Against Jean Silva
According to a recent report from MMA journalist Mike Heck, Arnold Allen is being eyed for a comeback fight against Jean Silva at UFC 324, scheduled for January 24, 2026, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Silva’s latest outing came in September, where he suffered his first promotional loss at the hands of former featherweight title challenger Diego Lopes in the main event of Noche UFC. Before that setback, “Lord” went on a five-fight finishing streak after earning his UFC contract on Dana White’s Contender Series in September 2023.
UFC 324 is set to be the organization’s first event of 2026 and will also kick off its landmark broadcast partnership with Paramount. Although the card is yet to lock in an official headliner, the first confirmed fight for UFC 324 is a light heavyweight showdown between Nikita Krylov and Modestas Bukauskas.
