It seems Alistair Overeem’s New Years Eve outing against Todd Duffee at Dynamite!! was the icing on the cake in more ways than one. According to ‘cagepotato.com’, the versatile Dutch heavyweight has been inducted into the Guinness Book of World Records for being the “only fighter to consecutively hold 3 championship belts”.
With a proposed bout between Alistair Overeem and Bobby Lashley now dead and buried, “The Reem” was left searching for an opponent. But just a few short hours ago, rumours surfaced of a potential fight with Former UFC Heavyweight Todd Duffee.
Reports were quick to surface that an agreement was possible, with both sides locked in tense negotiations earlier today, and it looks like the fight will go ahead with Duffee releasing the following message via his own Facebook:

Meanwhile Japanese MMA and Pride FC legend Kazushi Sakuraba is set to take on DREAM welterweight Champion Mariusz Zaromskis at Dynamite’s New Years Eve card.
