UFC legend Dominick Cruz has given his thoughts on being named as part of this year’s Hall of Fame class.

When you talk about important figures in the sport of mixed martial arts, especially in some of the smaller weight classes, Dominick Cruz has to be up there with the best of them. Dominick Cruz on UFC Hall of Fame induction

“Fourteen different surgeries through my career, not proud of that, being the most injured champion and fighter. One of the most injured. But, making it through and coming out and winning on top is what I’m grateful to God for giving me the strength to do.”

We imagine that Cruz is going to give a truly magnificent speech when he gets up there during International Fight Week, and with the names that are already in there, it makes sense for Dom to join them.
