UFC 314’s Bryce Mitchell Labels Evolution and the Big Bang as ‘Satanic Lies!’
Bryce Mitchell thinks evolution and the big bang theory (not the sitcom) are nothing but satanic lies being spread around our school systems.
‘Thug Nasty’ is no stranger to crazy-ass theories. In recent months, the featherweight standout has dubbed Elon Musk the bringer of the antichrist, claimed that his next opponent, Jean Silva, is possessed by demons, and that, despite killing six million Jews, Adolf Hitler was a “good guy” who he’d “liked to have gone fishing with.”
While most people were willing to simply roll their eyes in response to the first two claims, Mitchell found himself in some hot water with his praise for Hitler. Still, that hasn’t stopped Mitchell from running off at the mouth any chance he gets.
During a recent interview with The MMA Guru, ‘Thug Nasty’ once again tackled evolution and his frustration over the American school system’s decision to teach fact over fiction.
“Do you believe we came from monkeys because that’s what they teach in schools? Do you believe in the Big Bang, because that’s what they teach in school? All of these are not only lies, but they are deliberately Satanic lies,” Mitchell said.

Mitchell’s nonsensical theories have really seemed to ramp up since he suffered an absolutely brutal knockout at the hands of Josh Emmett in 2023.
Jean Silva will look to deliver a repeat performance of that viral KO when he steps inside the Octagon with Mitchell at UFC 314 on April 12. ‘Lord’ is 4-0 under the UFC banner with all of his victories coming by way of knockout.
As a result, Silva is a sizeable -350 favorite to come out on top while Mitchell is trending at +250.
