In a candid interview, Mitchell described a tumultuous period in his life when he was dating a woman he referred to as “a literal witch.” According to Mitchell, the relationship took a dark turn when his partner became “fully possessed by demons.” He claimed she exhibited erratic and destructive behavior, including speaking in tongues, breaking windows, and even destroying his tomato plants. “That’s when I realized demons are real,” Mitchell said. He further noted that this experience marked a turning point in his spiritual beliefs, leading him to embrace Christianity after previously identifying as an atheist.

Bryce Mitchell said:

“I was living a life of sexual pervertness and I started dating a witch, a spell caster type of witch. She was a literal witch.. Even though I was an atheist at the time I never dabbled in witchcraft because the s–t freaked me out. Darkness and weird blackness and all that weird paint on the face and the black nails. I never dabbled in darkness, even though my heart was full of it… She became fully possessed one day, by demons; she was not speaking English she was destroying my home, she was punching out windows. She started killing my Tomato plants!.. That’s when I realized, demons are real, I’m looking at a demon”

Bryce Mitchell’s spiritual struggles have also surfaced in the lead-up to his fight with Silva. Following their heated exchange at the UFC 314 press conference, Mitchell alleged that Silva cursed him, resulting in nightly “demonic dreams.” He claimed these dreams involved legions of demons attacking him and attempting to exploit his weaknesses through anger and lust. “Satan is using two of my weaknesses to try to expose the evil in my own heart,” he said in a social media post, calling on fellow Christians to pray for him.

Silva has dismissed Bryce Mitchell’s accusations as baseless, suggesting they stem from fear rather than any supernatural influence. Responding on social media, Silva said, “These aren’t demons; it’s just you being scared to confront me.” The Brazilian fighter also mocked Mitchell’s claims about demonic women, attributing them to testosterone issues. Silva has maintained confidence ahead of their bout, which is part of a stacked UFC 314 card.
