“Gifted Opportunities”: Arman Tsarukyan Tears Into Paddy Pimblett After Gaethje Loss at UFC 324

UFC star Arman Tsarukyan has opened up on his relationship with UFC boss Dana White.

As we know, Arman Tsarukyan has been pretty vocal about wanting a shot at the UFC lightweight championship. Unfortunately, it’s also well known that Dana White isn’t Arman’s biggest fan right now, mainly because of some antics that he’s been involved in away from actually competing in the cage.

At UFC Freedom 250, Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje will battle it out as they aim to unify the lightweight crown. Arman Tsarukyan, meanwhile, will watch from the sidelines, not knowing if he needs to fight one more time before going for the belt or just wait it out and see if he gets the call.

“I don’t know why Dana speaks ill of me, but I have no problem with them or any behind-the-scenes issues,” Tsarukyan said in a translated interview with Red Corner MMA. “There’s no point in addressing him because I don’t negotiate with him.

“I’m in talks with Hunter (Campbell) because he’s in charge of matchmaking. Dana probably just approves everything related to fights. The actual matchmakers are Sean Shelby and Hunter, so I’ve got nothing to say to Dana. I need to ask Hunter for a fight, and we talked this morning, and he gave me a date for my next fight.”

While there’s a lot of people who aren’t big fans of Arman, there’s no denying that he has more than earned the right to challenge for the belt – so it’ll be interesting to see what happens from here. He’s suggested that he could be interested in running it back with Charles Oliveira for the BMF title, but given how Charles’ win over Max Holloway played out, the UFC may not want to put the strap on the line in that one.
