Arman Tsarukyan on Benoit Saint-Denis Eyeing His Spot: “He Can Never Beat Me”
Arman Tsarukyan has reacted to Benoit Saint-Denis wanting to capture his No.1 UFC lightweight contender spot.
For context, Saint-Denis, after securing a TKO win over Dan Hooker at UFC 325, first called out the hotshots of the lightweight division. He said:
“I want the BMF or the undisputed belt. For me, there’s only Max Holloway, Charles Oliveira, Justin Gaethje, and Ilia Topuria I have in mind.
The Frenchman added:
“Arman as well. You say you’re the number one contender. I’m going to take your fu*king spot. I’m here to be the champion… I want the undisputed title or the BMF.”

‘God of War’ is now on a four-fight UFC win streak, with two knockouts and two submissions. While he may not be next in line for a title shot as he desires, his surge in the rankings puts him in a position to face a top opponent next.
If he overcomes that hurdle, he could be in a better position to fight for the UFC lightweight championship soon. Currently, BSD is ranked No. 5 on the 155-pound list.
