Moustapha Diakhate Makes Explosive PFL Debut, Finishes Darryl Walker in Round 1 at PFL New York
The PFL New York main card opening bout featured a light heavyweight contest between Moustapha Diakhate and Darryl Walker.
Right after the opening bell, Diakhate tagged Walker with a jab and then scored a phenomenal takedown in the center of the SmartCage. However, the 34-year-old wasted no time in getting up and landing a handful of powerful punches that forced Diakhate to take notice.
However, later in the round, Diakhate scored another takedown, secured back position, and from mount unleashed vicious left-handed ground-and-pound on his American foe, forcing the referee to step in and stop the fight.
