Henry Cejudo (10-0) kept his winning streak alive at UFC Fight Night 78 with a win over Jussier Formiga in a flyweight bout. Most think that he deserves a title shot, but Cejudo stated in the post-fight press conference that he plans to take some time off.

“I think I’m going to take some time, talk to my coach, talk to my agent and get into a camp sooner than later.”

Cejudo (10-0) is currently an undefeated MMA fighter. He has won his last five bouts by unanimous decision. He beat Ryan Hollis at LFC 24, Elias Garcia at LFC 27, Dustin Kimura at UFC on FOX 13, Chris Cariaso at UFC 185, and then Chico Camus at UFC 188. He beat Jussier Formiga by split decision at UFC Fight Night 78.

Cejudo has stated in the past that he has no plans of fighting in Las Vegas, Nevada due to the Nick Diaz suspension. For those who are unaware of the situation, Diaz was suspended for five years after testing positive for weed at UFC 183. UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson has said that he plans to fight in Vegas next, so there’s a potential problem with the match-up.

“I believe Nick Diaz, there’s due process going on, so as soon as that gets overturned, we can talk,” he said. “I mean, obviously, I’m not my own boss, but I’d have to sit down and talk to everybody from the UFC and decide what I’m going to do.”

UFC Fight Night 78 took place on Saturday, on November 21, 2015, at the Arena Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico. The event aired on UFC Fight Pass and FOX Sports 1.
