UFC Fight Night 85 Weigh-In Results: Heavyweight Main Event Official

USATSI 7274534

It’s another UFC fight weekend here at LowKickMMA.com, meaning it’s weigh-ins day once again. UFC Fight Night 85 is the meal on offer in Brisbane, Australia, and it’s chock full of appetising bouts for this Saturday March 19. At the top of the card is a meeting of heavyweight legends, as ex-UFC champion takes on K-1 king and Pride FC fan favorite Mark Hunt. The two have quite contrasting styles, but are also very similar in their recent records. Some brutal losses but also incredible wins are the back stories of both men’s entire career in all honesty, and it’s going to be fun to see how they approach this fight in the late stages of their respective careers.

In the co-main event we have a battle between Neil Magny and Hector Lombard at welterweight. After serving a suspension for being busted by USADA with some designer steroids in his system, ‘Lightning’ will look to bounce back in the stacked 170-pound division. The only problem with that statement of intent is that Magny is a much taller welterweight, and he’s looked like a stone cold killer in his recent form. Winning nine of his last 10 bouts, Magny will face a power punching athlete who, until 2011, hadn’t lost a fight in five years.

Elsewhere on the card we have a number of exciting matches featuring plenty of hot prospects from some of the most exciting current crop. Check in with us at 630 PM ET for the live weigh ins for UFC Fight Night 85, or see the updated results after the fact.
