Mantas Kondratavičius Drops Antonio Trócoli with Brutal Elbow, Secures Victory – UFC London Highlights

Antonio Trócoli vs. Mantas Kondratavičius - UFC London Highlights

Middleweight prospect Mantas Kondratavičius earned a big win over Antonio Trocoli in his Octagon debut at UFC London.

Kondratavičius came out swinging and landed early, prompting Trocoli to clinch up and rack up some control time against the fence. Before long, Kondratavičius reversed the position, though offense was few and far between for both fighters until the final 10 seconds.

Trocoli landed a big right hand in the waning moments of the first, but Kondratavičius managed to fire back just before the horn.

20 seconds into the second, Kondratavičius landed a nasty inside elbow that busted Trocoli open and sent the Brazilian crashing to the canvas. But just when it looked like the fight was over, Trocoli scrambled his way back up and separated himself following a brief clinch battle against the fence.

Trocoli appeared to be struggling with the cut near his right eye, but an accidental low blow from Kondratavičius gave him a much-needed break.

Upon the restart, Kondratavičius picked up right where he left off and nearly cinched in a rear-naked choke just before the horn.

After dominating the first two rounds, Kondratavičius ran out of steam in the third. That allowed Trocoli to control much of the action, though he lacked the stamina to secure a finish. As a result, we went to the scorecards, where the Latvian walked away with his first UFC victory.

Official Result: Mantas Kondratavičius def. Antonio Trocoli via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-27, 29-27).
