With the new USADA drug testing now in force, MMA fans need to prepare for a lot more of their favorite fighters getting caught…

UFC 194 made all kinds of noise this past Saturday December 12th, but undoubtedly it was the main event that produced the most. Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor fought to unify the featherweight title at the head of the card, and the result was an epic 13-second knockout win for ‘The Notorious.’ Perhaps not the all out war many of us had hoped for, but the fact the Brazilian king was uprooted with a single punch is impressive by itself.

For all the hype and theatrics that preceded UFC 194, it was quite ironic that McGregor stole the show with one striking exchange. The king of the 145-pound division is now ‘The Notorious,’ and already there’s talk of him moving up to lightweight for his next fight, leaving Frankie Edgar out in the cold once again. But that’s a different story.

News broke today that one of the main card stars was surprised by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) three days after winning his bout. Former Olympian Yoel Romero was the subject of this story, as confirmed by Ariel Helwani of MMAFighting.com.

‘Soldier of God’ won a somewhat controversial decision over Ronaldo Jacare Souza in a three round middleweight affair, extending his streak of rather questionable occurrences during his UFC appearances. Perhaos the doping agency felt the ripped Cuban didn’t pass their smell test?
