The recently reincarnated promotion, ProElite, successfully staged their first event this weekend from the Neal S. Blaisdell Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. In a rematch more than seven years in the making, Kendall Grove needed just 59-seconds to submit Joe Riggs in the headlining bout, while former UFC Heavyweight Champion Andrei Arlovski snapped a four-fight losing slump by scoring a third-round stoppage victory over Ray Lopez. Reagan Penn made good on the family name, choking out Paul Gardner in the opening-round and AKA product Mark Ellis submitted Jake Heun in his pro-debut. Also featured was former Olympian Sara McMann, defeating local favorite Raquel Pa’aluhi, as well as Drew McFedries, who was victorious over Garrett Olson.
