Neil Magny Scores Wild Comeback TKO Over Ramiz Brahimaj To Earn 25th Promotional Win At UFC 330
Neil Magny added another milestone to his remarkable UFC career after turning the tables on Ramiz Brahimaj at UFC 330.
Brahimaj came out aggressively and immediately targeted Magny’s grappling, repeatedly driving the veteran toward the fence before securing a takedown. He maintained top control for most of the opening round, landing short strikes while keeping Magny from finding his rhythm.
The same strategy appeared to be working early in the second. Brahimaj again took “The Haitian Sensation” down, but the 39-year-old finally found an opening during the scramble and reversed position. Once back on his feet, Magny landed a punishing body shot that sent Brahimaj crumbling against the fence.
The Haitian Sensation” swarmed his exhausted opponent with 15 unanswered strikes, forcing referee Jason Herzog to intervene and stop the contest at 3:20 of Round 2.
The comeback victory gives Neil Magny his 25th UFC win, moving him into second place on the promotion’s all-time wins list. It also marks his third victory in his last four fights after previously suffering a setback against Yaroslav Amosov.
