Julian Erosa Edges Marcin Wrzosek In Fun Las Vegas Scrap

The main card of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 22 Finale saw two featherweights throw leather. Julian Erosa (15-2) met fellow TUF 22 contestant Marcin Wrzosek (10-3) at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas in Nevada on Dec. 11, 2015.

Wrzosek wasted little time throwing punches. He landed a left hand and got in a clinch briefly. “Juicy J” looked a bit wobbled after getting clipped by Wrzosek and the two engaged in a clinch once again. Erosa landed a knee to the body and his opponent dropped for a takedown, but “Juicy J” threatened with a guillotine to wind up in top control. The Polish combatant escaped a D’Arce choke and returned to his feet.

At the start of round two, Wrzosek earned a takedown. He postured up and landed a right hand. The action returned on the feet and Wrzosek connected with a solid left hook. Wrzosek once again took his opponent down, but it was only for a moment.

Round three began and Erosa secured a takedown. Wrzosek tried to hang on to a guillotine, but there wasn’t much power behind it. The action resumed standing and “Juicy J” landed a stiff jab. The Polish stalwart looked tired, but kept trying for a takedown. Erosa took his opponent to the ground. As Wrzosek escaped, “Juicy J” connected with some punches and the final horn sounded.
