“He’s possessed!” Bryce Mitchell on His Demonic Opponent Jean Silva at UFC 314 “This is a battle of good vs. evil.”
UFC featherweight Bryce Mitchell has made headlines with his bold comments ahead of his upcoming bout against Jean Silva at UFC 314 on April 12, 2025, in Miami. He has added more claims that his upcoming opponent is possessed by demons who are attacking him.
Bryce Mitchell Declares His Fight is Against Demons Not Just His Opponent
In a recent interview, Mitchell expressed his belief that his opponent is under the influence of supernatural forces, framing the fight as a spiritual battle.”I don’t think he’s possessed, I know he’s possessed,” Mitchell said. “I know this is a battle of good vs evil. I’m talking about who he serves is evil. Anything other than Jesus Christ is evil. I serve good.”
Bryce Mitchell has been vocal about his struggles with what he describes as demonic attacks leading up to the fight. He shared that these experiences have intensified since the press conference on March 7, where Silva taunted him, even starting a chant against him. Mitchell believes these incidents are part of a larger spiritual challenge.

“These demons are attracted to me because they want to destroy me,” Mitchell stated. “I have had demons plague me several times before, but now these demons see me as a superior threat and all they want to do is destroy me… The world will see me victorious and see the miracles performed by me, through Jesus Christ.”

Mitchell’s remarks have added an unusual dimension to the buildup of the fight. He claims that Silva is not just an opponent but someone “possessed by a legion of demons.” He has called on fellow Christians to pray for him as he prepares for what he sees as a spiritual confrontation in addition to a physical one.
UFC athlete Bryce Mitchell is known for his odd beliefs about Adolf Hitler, Elon Musk, flat earth, witches, and many other things.
