Conor McGregor vs. Andy Ogle added to UFC on Fox Sports 1 in Boston

Ever since Conor McGregor made an impressive debut with a knockout of Marcus Brimage at UFC Sweden this April 6^th, Dana White has spoke about the Irishman fighting at UFC on Fox Sports 1 in Boston. That bout has been made official, as McGregor will face off with TUF alum Andy Ogle.

Both fighters have only two losses on their record, with McGregor at 13-2 and Ogle at 9-2. The August tilt will be a good gauge of how ready both are for contention in the rapidly improving UFC featherweight division. Interestingly enough, it will be the first fight in the United States for both (Ogle did fight in Vegas while filming TUF).

The bout joins a quickly expanding roster for the August 17^th event, sure to entertain in Dana White’s Massachusetts hometown. Coupled with Uriah Hall’s placement on the card, UFC on Fox Sports 1:Boston has the potential for fireworks.
