Chael Sonnen will be joined by WWE Champion CM Punk at UFC on Fox

CM Punk, who hails from Chicago, has admitted that he is a fan of MMA and if you have witnessed a Chael Sonnen interview as of late, you know that he has watched some video on how to hype a fight and build an image via interviews.
FrontRowBrian first tweeted the news on Tuesday stating:
FRB Exclusive Story: @CMPunk will be walking to the octagon with @sonnench on Jan. 28th for @UFCONFOX. Vince, Dana, Lorenzo approved it.
MMAFighting.com reported that Punk will only walk Sonnen to the cage and will not corner him for the fight.
UFC on Fox 2 will take place on January 28 from the United Center in Chicago, IL. The fight card will be headlined by a Light Heavyweight bout between former UFC Champion Rashad Davis and Phil Davis.

Who is CM-Punk??? Is he supposed to be some celeb? Well it's a fail, and just add him to the long list of other wannabe celebs that are not really celebs because only some small niche market knows about them.

While there is some truth in what you say watch some of Seagal's online videos where guys run at him and he "touches" them and they go flying through the air. Either Aikido is different than all other martial arts or its full of magic and sorcery or these guys are faking it and throwing themselves all over the place. Segal = some real + lots o' fake.

I do not care about Chael and I do not care about WWE. For all his theatrics I clearly remember that Chael had his ass handed to him by Silva, so I do not understand why he should be any different from the 2nd tier guys. I do not like trash talkers and that is not going to change any time soon - with or without the help of WWE.

silva is a brill fighter but he did not beat chael. A 2nd match seems like the best plan because he put up the biggest threat, apart form his submission defence in round 5.

My guess is that Chael and CM Punk are good personal friends, and he'll just be part of Chael's walk-out entourage. I doubt any attention will be drawn to him.
