Watch: Conor McGregor Drops New Sparring Footage

Conor McGregor reignites feud with Paulie Malignaggi ahead of UFC 303 he got battered out of the gym

Conor McGregor has released a new behind-the-scenes video peeling back the curtain on himself, honing his fighting skills inside the confines of a gym.

The video posted by the former two-division UFC titleholder saw McGregor impose text over the top, which read,

“Make the punches whistle. Strong to the body, light to the head.”

The footage was initially posted to social media via @TheNotoriousMMA, with the clip also later being shared by way of the X account, @ChampRDS.

McGregor has been out of action since his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier in July 2021, but he still indicates interest in wanting to take on a return fight. ‘The Notorious’ made some semblance of an effort in recent times by re-inserting himself into the UFC’s drug testing pool, but things have since taken a bit of a confusing turn.

The UFC Roster Tracker reported the news that Conor McGregor was no longer part of the MMA powerhouse’s active roster.

Usually, this indicates that the promotion has either released the fighter outright or that the combatant has chosen to hang up the gloves. For a report like this to come out surrounding the biggest box office draw in MMA history seemed quite unusual to many, but it was not long before a central UFC figurehead would come out to comment on this report.

Conor McGregor reportedly no longer on UFC roster, Dana White responds

The UFC Roster Tracker does not have any direct affiliation with the company and instead monitors these things by going off the UFC-listed roster on their official website.
