Jorge Masvidal scored a massive knockout over Darren Till (watch it here) in the main event of today’s (Sat., March 16, 2019) UFC London, but the focus is now on his backstage brawl with Leon Edwards after the card.

Edwards apparently began talking smack to Masvidal as “Gamebred” began an interview with ESPN backstage:

News broke on the post-fight show via MMA Junkie’s Mike Bohn that Masvidal cut Edwards with the punches. Both had been escorted out of the arena.

They would no longer appear at the event post-fight press conference:

The UFC was questioned about whether or not the two would receive fines and/or sanctions for the brawl. To that, they replied it was too soon to tell.

One thing is certain, however, and that’s that a fight between Jorge Masvidal and Leon Edwards already has a massive backstory with which to promote it. With both having a ton of momentum right now, it could be the next logical move for both rising welterweight competitors.
