UFC Fight night 55 live stream

UFC Fight Night 55 prelims results from Sydney, Australia…..

It’s been a great night of fights so far down under, with a plethora of finishes for the fans at the Allphones Arena. Starting the card off in Sydney, Australia were bantamweights Jumabieke Tuerxun and Marcus Brimage. “Desert Storm” scores a vicious head kick knockout, first significant strike of the fight too.

Middleweights Luke Zachrich and Daniel Kelly were next, and the Australian underdog was game from the jump; battling on the feet, scoring one takedown and twisting a neat key lock behind the back. First round sub for Kelly. Welterweights Vik Grujic and Chris Clements threw down, and it was another big finish. Clements rocked Grujic with punches, and “Spartan” crumpled as Herb Dean stepped in.

Richie Vaculik and Louis Smolka met at flyweight, and it was all fireworks from the start. They traded heavy shots in the centre of the octagon, in what is looking like a strong case for FOTN so far. They scramble and brawl like crazy in a high paced, thoroughly entertaining scrap. A huge side kick to the face, and now punches from Smolka, and Vaculik is OUT! What a finish in round three!!

Dylan Andrews and Sam Alvey had unfinished business at middleweight, and this was a crazy finish. “The Villain” seemed to rock himself as he took Alvey down, and “Smiling” sensed the finish. Alvey turns and rocks Andrews with big punches for the first round KO. Bit of a “Gray Maynard” by Andrews there. Anthony Perosh and Guto Inocente at light-heavyweight now.

Perosh starts strong with a takedown and plenty of top time, sinks in a rear naked choke and that is all she wrote. 42 year old Anthony Perosh with another first round stoppage. What a night of fights, and Jake Matthews vs Vagner Rocha is on at lightweight. Matthews swinging hard leather, but Rocha proves durable through round one.

Superman punch by Matthews, and Rocha goes down, they scramble and Matthews chokes Rocha to sleep! Wow, great finish by “The Celtic Kid” as he submits the grappling specialist out cold. This is truly one of the most action packed cards I have ever seen, what a night of fights on the undercard!
