Tom Aspinall Goes Nuclear on Ciryl Gane, Promises to ‘Smash His Face’ After Surgery
Tom Aspinall has taken a fiery dig at Ciryl Gane, after Gane recently showcased to fans on Instagram that he is staying busy, although there is no date or opponent for his next bout.
‘Bon Gamin’ captioned his post:
“Still no date or opponent yet… but we keep grinding and training hard before the holidays 💪🔥 with my man”

Not happy with Gane’s caption, Aspinall quipped:
“No sh*t there’s not a date yet. I’m not medically cleared to fight and about to have surgery thanks to your disgusting fingernails. I’ll be back to smash your face in soon, you cheat.”

Tom Aspinall was poked in the eye at UFC 321 by Gane, after which the title bout ended as a no-contest, and the champion retained his heavyweight championship.
Since then, the Brit has been on the sidelines and will need surgery and an eyeball injection. His road to recovery seems longer than anticipated, and Dana White’s plans to rebook Aspinall vs. Gane ASAP will not come to fruition as Aspinall is not even cleared to train.
Dana White promises to get Tom Aspinall back in the octagon soon
After the UFC 321 headliner ended in a no-contest, Dana White said at the post-fight presser that Tom Aspinall didn’t want to continue fighting. Aspinall was not happy with White’s remarks, and he expressed his frustration in a video on his YouTube channel.
To settle the bad blood and confusion, White at the UFC 323 presser clarified that he didn’t want to say anything negative about the champion, and the promotion is taking good care of him:
“I get it. I don’t remember exactly what I said…That I think his eyes were okay? Here’s the thing. I know Tom said I haven’t even talked to him, but we have people all over him right now, checking up on him, making sure he’s good… I wasn’t saying anything negative toward him. I think that things can be taken out of context, or he didn’t see what I said. Never once did I say anything negative about him or in a derogatory way. I am sure he is upset and fired up, and he will get better, and we will get him back in there.”
