Just in case you’ve been locked in your neighbour’s 1960’s nuclear war bunker for the past few months, here’s an update on one of the most controversial stories in mixed martial arts today-Anderson Silva flunked multiple drug tests this year, following a UFC 183 decision win over Nick Diaz. The former middleweight boss maintained his innocence throughout the constantly delayed proceedings, until finally standing before the NAC (Nevada Athletic Commission) on August 13th, 2015.
No one really knew how this bizarre case would play out, factors like conflicting test results made it seem rather complicated, but Silva’s explanation put everything in to focus, for all the wrong reasons. A shady doctor as an ‘expert,’ a friend with a bottle of magical blue penis juice from Thailand, plenty of picked apart lies and an overall feeling of guilt from ‘The Spider’ pretty much sums the whole hearing up.

To even the most loyal Silva fans, it’s obvious he is lying or at least trying to shield the whole truth. He gets ragdolled as we’ve never seen before, and ends up coming off as a bit of a jerk.
