UFC 150 took place tonight live from Denver, Colorado, and Lightweight champion Benson Henderson has retained his championship belt in a somewhat controversial split decision over former champ Frankie Edgar. The fight saw Henderson possess an advantage in significant strikes, outlanding Edgar 89 to 62. However, Edgar held a huge advantage in the area of control, with 3 minutes, 15 seconds to a mere 10 seconds by Henderson. Edgar rocked Henderson early in the fight, while the champion landed many leg kicks.
UFC on FX is over from Atlantic City, New Jersey and the main event found Gray Maynard delivering an important win at Lightweight. The fights featured a lot of technical fighting, with decisions comprising 3 out of 4 main card bouts.

The UFC announced today that Brock Jardine (9-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) will replace Papy Abedi (8-2 MMA, 0-2 UFC) in a welterweight match against Rick Story (13-5 MMA, 6-3 UFC) on next month’s UFC on FX 4.
