Nate Diaz Plans To Pull Some Ninja S*** Versus Conor McGregor

Right after the dust settled on his impressive unanimous decision win over Michael Johnson on the main card of last Saturday’s (December 19, 2015) UFC on FOX 17 from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida, Nate Diaz took his well-known self promotion skills to the next level by calling out featherweight champion Conor McGregor in an expletive-laced tirade.

There was little doubt that a bout featuring the ultra-popular Diaz and McGregor would do big business, as “The Notorious” is the hottest thing in MMA and the Diaz brothers have always generated a huge amount of hype and interest. However, with only two wins in his last five bouts, it’s also plain to see that there are other fights that make much more sense for McGregor from a legitimacy standpoint.

But that isn’t going to stop him from attempting to sign on for the consensus biggest money fight in MMA at the moment. The Stockton slugger spoke up to MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani after the fight to continue his creative call out of McGregor:

“American ninja, Irish ninja. Represent your shit boy. Bring that shit on. Let’s fight.”

Now that’s some classic Diaz trash talk as only a Diaz could do it. According to Nate, he already talked to UFC matchmaker Joe Silva and was told that the UFC wants the fight just like everyone else does:

“Oh he said it’s on. He said we’re gonna do this. Hell yeah they want it, everybody wants that fight, that’s what they want. Everybody wants that fight. What are they gonna do? The people wanna see a real fight, they knew who to call.”

As for how he plans to beat the surging McGregor, Diaz offered up a concise explanation that he would “ninja McGregor up”:

“Train hard and ninja his ass up. That’s the key to beating everybody. Ninja real shit. Not no funny, fake, ‘Let’s fight, this will be good for the sport.’ Fuck that. Fuck the sport. This is fight shit, this is ninja shit. That’s what I wanna see, that’s what people wanna see when I watch, so let’s see some real shit. You hear me. Let’s get it.”
