Nate Diaz Not Impressed By ‘Bitches’ Cerrone & dos Anjos

Returning lightweight scrapper Nate Diaz will have a lot on his plate at UFC on FOX 17, as he plans to try and shake the ring rust against Michael ‘The Menace’ Johnson. As is usual for the 209 native, taking aim at Johnson isn’t his only objective, as Diaz sets his sights on two of his former opponents. UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos and Donald Cerrone are set to face off on the same December card as Diaz, and appeared during the eventful GO BIG launch to promote their upcoming fight.

Flashy interim featherweight champion Conor McGregor stole the show with his brazen attitude and sharp wit, blasting both ‘Cowby’ and ‘RDA’ with his sometimes hilarious rants. Diaz was watching, and was not impressed by either of his previous foes:

Many believed that Cerrone had actually won the war of words with his brilliant lucky charms threat, but clearly Diaz feels that they should have brought their game up a little more. You’ll remember the last time Diaz was involved in a confrontation with a UFC star, the WSOF 22 brawl in all it’s glory got both Nick and Nate banned from attending any future events, after both theirs and Khabib Nurmagomedov‘s crews collided to catastrophic effect.

Diaz’s fight with dos Anjos was about as one-sided in favor of the Brazilian as it could be, but the Stockton brawler put a serious beatdown on ‘Cowboy’ when they fought back in 2011. Without a win in nearly two years, we are once again playing the broken Diaz record; will he be able to come back with a win, if so will Diaz fight again within the following year?

Honestly, it would actually be good to see Nate Diaz string together some wins and fulfil some of the potential that he and older brother Nick so often squander. Against ‘The Menace’ though, that is going to be a very tall order.
