Movsar Evloev Confident He Has The Tools to KO Alexander Volkanovski

UFC featherweight contender Movsar Evloev is confident that he can defeat Alexander Volkanovski, and not only defeat him, but also knock him out.

For the longest time now, Movsar Evloev has been viewed as one of the most exciting prospects in the featherweight division. Unfortunately, despite an unbeaten record and wins over a handful of top names, he hasn’t been given the chance to really shine in a championship environment, which many fans have questioned time and time again.

In his next fight, Movsar Evloev will go head to head with Lerone Murphy in the main event of UFC London. While it’s by no means a guarantee, it’s safe to assume that the victor of that contest will go on to battle Alexander Volkanovski for the UFC featherweight title, probably at some point later this year so long as everyone involved is healthy.

In a recent interview, Movsar Evloev made a pretty bold statement regarding how he believes that potential title fight could go.

Movsar Evloev on Alexander Volkanovski fight

“Pressure, wrestling, because, you know, I think if I catch him I can knock him out. It was looks like when Diego touched him it was pretty easy touch and he dropped him, and if he have more chance to beat him after that he can knock him out, like he can finish him, but he didn’t for some reason.

“It looks like Alex is getting older, but he’s still tough. I don’t want to think about our fight until they book it. Definitely I think he is the greatest featherweight of all time in the UFC and I’m so happy he’s not retired, because you know it’s so good to have that kind of name in resume.”
