Mike Perry reveals offer from MisFits for April MMA fight with Dillon Danis: ‘I’m saying yes’

Former UFC welterweight contender, Mike Perry has revealed he has received an offer from British boxing promotion, MisFits to take on incoming GFL headliner, Dillon Danis in a mixed martial arts clash as soon as April — which he has accepted.
Perry, a star since his move to the BKFC (Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship), most recently won via first round knockout against former UFC welterweight title challenger, Thiago Alves in April of last year — landing his sixth straight victory in the David Feldman-led promotion.

As for Danis, the Bellator MMA alum is set for a May debut in the newly-launched Global Fight League, taking on former interim UFC lightweight kingpin, Tony Ferguson.
However, over the course of last weekend, New Jersey grappler, Danis was slated to fight in professional boxing match against outspoken British musician and YouTuber, KSI — until an illness forced the latter from proceedings.

Set to receive an offer to compete at a later date, according to Perry, however, MisFits have approached him about fighting Danis as soon as April — in a professional mixed martial arts outing.

“It looks like I might be getting this last-minute call, which I said yes to,” Mike Perry told Ariel Helwani for Uncrowned. “Then it’s just in the gym preparing and nothing’s gonna take me out of that zone. I’ll be in the gym twice a day, focused on what it is I need to do.
“KSI is out. Yeah. Dillon Danis wants to fight MMA,” Mike Perry explained. “I’m saying yes, but we gotta see what Mam’s (Taylor) coming up with over there in Misfits.”

Yet to settle their long-standing differences to boot, Danis infamously faced-off with Perry for a potential fight ahead of his grudge match with Logan Paul back in 2023.
